Peterson Family Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving Day with my Dad and step mom and (two of my brothers) at their house in Emmett. They prepared a beautiful feast which we thoroughly enjoyed:


After our early dinner, we spent some time studying the effects of turkey on the human body...





Fortunately, everyone woke up in time for dessert!


We watched a Walton's movie (anyone remember that TV series?) about an Old Fashioned Christmas, reinforcing our desire to be close to family this time of year.


During the movie, Keitra took a nap and Corban made a paper chain to decorate the Christmas tree with Grandma. After the movie we decorated the Christmas tree my parents cut from their own mountain land while we took turns talking on the phone with my brother Jason who lives in Kansas, sister Laura in Boston, sister Jennifer in Michigan and aunt Robin and cousin Ryan who live in Northern California.
