Christmas Eve Day we spent with my Dad and step mom at their house in Emmett. We arrived in the morning and the guys made a big, delicious breakfast of hash browns, pancakes, and scrambled eggs, after which we all lounged around for awhile like a bunch of lazy-heads!
Later, Mom read us the Christmas story from the Bible and we talked on the phone to my brother Jason who lives in Dodge City, KS. But the real frosting on the cake of the day was when we went down to a local Old Folks Home and sang carols to the residents.
That night the kids hung their stockings on the archway over the hall, since we don't have a fireplace. All in all it was a great day!
