Memorial Day happened to fall on Ken's sister Penny's birthday this year and her husband Dave planned a birthday party for her. Dave cooked amazing rib-eye steaks for us on his new grill, as well as a plethora of hot dogs, hamburgers and grilled veggies.
Ken's brother and sister in law Tony and Traci came with their kids, Stephanie (4) and Talan (1), as did friends Andy and Becky Jensen with their two kids, Leah (10) and Zack(8).
After the heavenly eats we played Bang! and talked and the kids ran amock. It was a great way to celebrate the holiday: good food, good company, enjoying the freedom that so many have sacrificed for.
